Prince Harry claims that his struggles with royal life are similar to those that Princess Diana had.
Prince Harry is feeling extremely linked to his late mother, Princess Diana, especially when it comes to being the legendary "black sheep" of the royal family, so someone please hurry up and buy him a black sheep sweater.
Harry spoke candidly on a wide range of topics, including being the Princess Diana of the modern monarchy, in a highly enlightening new interview with Dr. Gabor Maté, a specialist in trauma, addiction, stress, and early development.
I always felt a little bit different from the rest of my family, I know that throughout my life, especially in my earlier years," he admitted (per People). "Being in this container made me feel uncomfortable, and I'm sure my mother did too. I felt as though my body was in there, but my head was out, but sometimes it was the other way around. That makes sense to me now, but it didn't make sense at the time. It was almost like, "Don't be yourself, come back to what you're meant to be," if that makes sense, if I dared to be myself, to be my honest true self, whether it was through media or family or whatever it was."
Harry also considers public service to be his top priority in life, much like his late mother did. To that aim, he used the conversation with Dr. Maté as a chance to make it plain that, in spite of any rumours and/or conjecture about other potential reasons, the service-first approach is indeed what motivated him to write his memoir, Spare.
'I want this to be an act of service, it needs to be, because I know important it is, because you're almost giving permission for people to talk about their own stuff, and be their own selves, and society doesn't really help us,' I said to the people who were helping me write this book. "I really hope, and I hoped right from the beginning," he added. Because of the standards and the way you are portrayed as people, I would say this is true even more so inside my family.
What would be the most comfortable form of a vengeance dress for Prince Harry? making a buddy request.
